(SAVANNAH SPOTLIGHT) on MYANDI PETERSON. 10 Things You Did Not Know about MYANDI

Myandi graduated with a B.S. in Communications and a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Liberty University in 2004. After graduating Myandi moved to Savannah where she worked as a freelance Public Relations Coordinator for Carriage Trade PR and as a Production Assistant at WTOC. She left Savannah and moved to Orlando, Florida in 2005 and worked as an Events Coordinator for a catering company while also doing freelance marketing and public relations work for various small businesses.

In 2006 her husband’s job moved the couple to Fredericksburg, VA where she became a Marketing Director for several local businesses. She concentrates on professional networking, marketing, public relations and building mutually beneficial relationships between her clients and the community.

Over the past six years, Myandi has been a stay at home mom and has dedicated her life to raising two children while also being actively involved in numerous local charity organizations. Now that her children older and her time is freeing up, Myandi has started up her own Public Relations Company, Peterson Randall Public Relations (PRPR), specializing in helping businesses increase visibility through charitable opportunities. Myandi currently partners with Smile Train and created a campaign called Fredericksburg Dining For Smiles. Ten years ago Marjorie Young gave Myandi the opportunity to join her Visibility Team at Carriage Trade PR and now Myandi is thrilled to be back as a Public Relations Coordinator once again. Over the past ten years Myandi has gained confidence and expertise that she is excited to apply to her roles and responsibilities with Carriage Trade PR.

Myandi has always had a love for Savannah and said, “I left a piece of me there when I left, so I am delighted to be reconnected with Savannah once again.” She currently lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with her husband Shannon and two children Cullen and Delanie, ages six and two.
