Enmarket Introduces New Rewards and Payment Program
Enmarket’s Enjoy Rewards will enable customers to earn fuel discounts by buying gas or diesel fuel as well as food and other merchandise inside the store. Those discounts can amount to as much as $2 off per gallon on fuel purchases.
“This rewards program provides significant savings for our customers and also maximizes convenience,” said Brett Giesick, president of Enmarket, the 49th largest convenience store chain in the country. “Participants will be able to earn and redeem rewards at any of our 125 stores.”
Other features of the program include a coffee club, frozen beverage club and roller grill club, each of which awards a customer a free item after six purchases, plus a free annual birthday reward.
Enjoy Rewards also offers registration rewards such as a one-time 10-cents-a-gallon discount and five free fountain drinks or coffees. Customers may pick up a card at any Enmarket location and can register the card online or on the Enmarket Enjoy Rewards mobile app to start redeeming their fuel discounts. From there, Enmarket customers have the option to either use the physical card or enter their phone number at checkout to access their accounts and rewards.
In addition to providing access to the rewards program, the card can be activated as a method of payment, called enPay. When customers pay for their fuel with enPay, they earn 10 cents off each gallon purchased in that transaction. The enPay card allows customers to make transactions using a secure PIN after linking the card directly to their checking account.
The software that powers the rewards program was developed by Paytronix, while the payment platform is delivered by Zipline.
“We strategically chose two leaders in their respective fields as our partners for this initiative,” continued Giesick. “Paytronix is the industry leader in its category and has the most experience of any company on the market—they truly understand how to use their deep intelligence to drive individual action. In fact, both companies have proven that they understand how to incentivize customers in a meaningful way through offers that are relevant to each individual. We’re building an ecosystem that allows for future integrations that will be seamless to our customers and make the Enmarket shopping experience second to none in the industry.”
This rewards program signals Enmarket’s commitment to its reputation as a technology-driven company designed to make customer experiences faster and more convenient. Last year, the chain became one of the first convenience store chains in the U.S. to introduce new mobile payment technology in the form of a self-checkout service that allows customer to skip register lines and pay for purchases instantly via Enmarket’s smartphone app.
Enmarket is Savannah’s largest convenience store chain, employing more than 1,300 people and operating 125 convenience stores, 14 quick-serve restaurants, and a fast casual restaurant as the 49th largest convenience store operator in the country. Founded as Interstate Stations by Robert Demere in 1963, the retailer operates convenience stores in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina and was noted as the industry’s “Biggest Mover” in store count ranking by Convenience Store News in 2018. The company is committed to giving back to the community through many charitable contributions and volunteer efforts, offering fresh food, healthy snacks, and competitively priced quality fuel as part of its mission to enrich life. www.enmarket.com
Computers Donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Jasper County from Peacock Automotive
(JASPER COUNTY, S.C.) Members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Jasper County received 16 refurbished desktop computers that will be used to advance educational programs as the Club aims to empower youth to excel in school, practice good citizenship and lead healthy, productive lives. This donation was presented by Peacock Automotive.
“The Boys & Girls Clubs are so grateful for this donation. Our world is driven by technology, but it can still be costly to provide our Club members with access to the equipment necessary to develop computer skills they will need every day,” said James Dismond, area director of resource development for the Clubs.
Dismond especially looks forward to the impact the computers will have on the Clubs’ literacy program, which bridges in-person tutoring with online learning engagement to help members learn and retain improved reading abilities.
“My team with Peacock Information Technology is thrilled that we can do well by the Boys & Girls Clubs with these computers,” said John Chapman, chief technical officer for Peacock Automotive. “Although we quickly outgrow PCs in our industry, they still make great additions for any classroom, learning center or lab.”
The Dell all-in-one computers features include updated operating systems, 23-inch screens, a minimum of 4 gigabytes of RAM, built-in DVD drives, integrated Intel graphics and Ethernet ports, headphone and mic jacks, keyboards and mice.

Enmarket’s New Technology Lets Mobile Users Bypass Checkout Lines
(SAVANNAH, GA) Enmarket’s convenience stores just got more convenient with the installation of Skip Checkout, a new mobile-based application that enables customers to scan and pay for their goods with their phones and skip checkout lines.
The technology is available in all 124 Enmarketstores, making it the nation’s largest convenience store chain to adopt the technology.
“Customers who have the free Skip Checkoutapp can scan their purchases with the lens on their phone, pay with the click of a button, and flash their phone to the cashier on their way out the door, all without standing in line,” said Brett Giesick, President of Enmarket. “Even people who don’t use the app will benefit because this will speed up lines and enable our employees to work on even further improving the customer experience.”
It sounds complicated, but it’s not. Here’s a step-by-step rundown:
- Customers download the Skip Checkoutapp free from getskip.com or your preferred app store, create an account, and link a payment card to begin using the technology. The app can be up and running in just a few minutes.
- When you visit your Enmarketstore, open the app. Once you confirm your location, as prompted by the app, you are ready to shop!
- Scan the barcodes of your items to add them to your shopping cart, where they will be stored until you are ready to pay. Items such as fresh fruit or hot dogs that don’t have a barcode can be purchased through a pick-list in the app.
- Click the pay button to complete your transaction and charge your card. Then, on your way out of the store, flash your phone to an employee at the cash register to show you’re using Skip, and you’re done.
Age-restricted products such as beer may be scanned in the app, but those customers must still present their ID to the sales associate.
Customers have found the app very easy to use, and a fast, convenient way to shop.
“The process is smooth from start to finish, and the app is very easy to figure out how to use,” said Callie McIntosh, an Enmarketcustomer. “Enmarkethas really made it convenient to get in and out quickly. I use it every time I check out, and I still get a friendly acknowledgement from the employees on my way out the door.”
Enmarket employees received training to prepare for the rollout of the new technology. Employees are alerted every time a Skipshopper enters the store, and also when they have paid for their transaction, thanks to an iPad using Skiptechnology next to the cash register. Security features are built in as well.
“Convenience to our customers is fundamental to our business model,” said Giesick. “By investing in the latest technology, we are able to enhance that convenience. Customers can get in, get out and get on their way even faster with Skip Checkout. We’re thrilled to introduce this innovative technology to consumers in our markets. It has been very well received by the customers and employees who have been a part of our initial test phase.”

Felder & Associates Launches New Website Designed by Speros
Designed by Speros, a full-service technology company in Savannah, the site has been restructured to better feature the architecture and design firm’s growing portfolio of work specializing in historic preservation, architectural design, project management, construction administration and interior design.
“It was becoming more apparent the old website was not structurally well suited to showcasing our increasing number of photos and content,” said Brian Felder, the firm’s managing principal. “We wanted a site that better reflected our company’s character and standards and behaved consistently in different browsers. I’m pleased to say the Sperosteam was able to accomplish that.”
Lauren Dingus, Speros’ director of web design and marketing, updated the site’s visible aspects, first by repurposing a video highlighting various steps of the design process. It is now featured prominently on the home page and provides background interest while visitors browse through the site’s streamlined navigation menu.
Divided into three distinct sectors, Felder & Associates’ updated project portfolio features a variety of residential and religious projects, as well as some of the firm’s best known commercial work.
“We were able to create a more organized project portfolio and to assist viewers looking for specific work, as well as press releases and award information,” said Dingus. “The new navigation makes it easier for viewers to stay on the site while they move around and find the information they need.”
Felder & Associates’ updated website also includes information about the firm’s history and its growing team of associates, as well as a news gallery. For more information, visit https://felderassociates.net/
