Marvel’s Captain America Speaks Out Against Bullying at Savannah Mall

(SAVANNAH, GA) The Savannah Mall invited kids and their families to a special event with Marvel’s Captain America. In conjunction with National Bullying Prevention Month, the superhero shared his story and a few simple steps on how to deal with a bully.

“The Savannah Mall was pleased to host this costumed character event,” said Becky Orsi, Savannah Mall’s marketing/specialty leasing manager. “Marvel’s Captain America spoke about bullying and what you can do to overcome it, which is an important message that kids and their parents needs to hear.”

National Bullying Prevention Month was held during the month of October and unites communities nationwide to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. Established in 2006 by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, the campaign includes activities, education, and awareness building. National Bullying Prevention Month is recognized in communities across the United States, with hundreds of schools and organizations signing on as partners.
