SILENT WITNESS EXHIBIT OCT 9 UNVEILED
(SAVANNAH, GA) SAFE Shelter Center for Domestic Violence Services is pleased to announce a local Silent Witness Exhibit will be unveiled at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 9 at the Forsyth Park Fountain in Savannah. The Exhibit consists of 12 life-sized, red laminated silhouettes, with 11 representing an actual person murdered in an act of domestic violence in Chatham County since 2011, plus one additional figure to represent those uncounted women whose murders went unsolved or were erroneously ruled accidental. BRIDGE RUN

(SAVANNAH, GA) The Savannah Sports Council launched a redesigned Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run website and logo and is now taking registrations for the 2015 race to be held Saturday, Dec. 5. Each year more than 5,000 participants run and walk the 5K, 10K and Double Pump (a 5K and 10K combined) over Savannah’s Talmadge Bridge. In its 25th year, the 2015 race weekend will begin with the Health and Wellness Expo at the Savannah Civic Center on Friday, Dec. 4 and end with a post-race party in Franklin Square on race day.
