Savannah Yoga Center Closes Pooler Location and Expand Savannah Studio Offerings

SAVANNAH –  Savannah Yoga Center has closed its Pooler studio after 17 months of operation in order to focus on continuing to build excellence at its Savannah studio, which thrives in its thirteenth year of service. Pooler memberships, class passes and intro specials are and will be honored at the Savannah studio location, and many of Pooler’s instructors will be added to the teaching roster there as well.

“Our experience in Pooler was nothing short of wonderful and I have no regrets about the money spent to create and sustain it,” said Boyd, who invested thousands in personal funds in the venture. “Many people were asking for a studio in Pooler andlots of businesses were opening at the time. It seemed like the right place to open a second location. We definitely gave it our heart and best efforts. The Pooler studio was simply unable to financially sustain itself.”

Savannah Yoga Center (SYC) has served as a community-oriented, welcoming yoga center and boutique for more than 12 years, offering the most diverse types of yoga and instructors with a schedule of more than 75 classes each week. Additionally, SYC has become a leader in the region, bringing in guest instructors from around the world to conduct workshops and Yoga Teacher Training programs.

With a focus on laughter, lightheartedness, adventure and educating all levels of student in the rich heritage of yoga, Boyd and her team of 20+ knowledgeable teachers share their love of yoga to both physically and spiritually enhance growth and transformation of the Savannah community.
