Auction to Benefit Local Animal Welfare Groups

(SAVANNAH, GA) Friends of Animals announces the 17th Annual auction themed “Rebel Without A Pawse,” will be held Saturday, August 15 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Savannah Station, 601 Cohen Street. There will be three bars as well as food stations and guests are encouraged to wear ’50s attire.

The proceeds from the auction will be benefiting local welfare groups, including: Bryan County Animal Caregivers, Humane Society for Greater Savannah, Islands Feral Cat Project, One Love Animal Shelter, PAWS, Save-a-life, and Second Chance Dog Rescue. Friends of Animals of the Coastal Empire, Inc. is an all volunteer, non-profit 501©(3) organization that distributes funds from its annual auctions to existing non-profit animal rescue and welfare groups in our area. They strive to promote the health and well-being of animals, prevent cruelty to animals, and prevent overpopulation and homelessness of animals.
