(SAVANNAH, GA) Enmark Stations announces that 25 of its larger format stores will now carry UNFI products in an effort to offer customers healthy snacking options. UNFI is the leading independent national distributor of natural, organic and specialty foods and related products including nutritional supplements, personal care items and organic produce.
Enmark Stations will offer UNFI snack items such as kale and falafel chips, Tanka buffalo jerky, organic candy, drinks such as kombucha and organic sodas, and frozen products including ice cream and frozen entrees from Amy’s.
Stephanie Walker, UNFI Regional Sales Manager, said, “We were very happy when Enmark expressed an interest in our service and products. As the first convenience store chain serviced by our Atlanta warehouse, Enmark’s commitment to providing healthy snacks for its customers is a step above what most convenience stores are currently doing.”
“Enmark has always had an interest in making our communities healthier. The Savannah Bridge Run has been an important event for us for many years, we’ve organized the Encourage Health lecture series, and we have a history of working with our suppliers to carry their healthier product options,” said Matt Clements, Director of Marketing at Enmark Stations, “In order to take the healthy options to the next level, we had to seek out a new supplier. UNFI embraced our interest and helped us organize this vision. Over 50% of Americans snack three or more times per day. Why not make it easier for them to make a healthy choice when they snack?”
There are plans for the remaining Enmark stores to start carrying these items in the near future.
UNFI’s mission is to create partnering relationships of trust, integrity, customer satisfaction and loyalty. UNFI strives to provide the widest selection of natural and organic, wellness, and specialty food products of the highest quality. Organic grocery stores around the country offer UNFI items. UNFI boasts a commitment to the community by supporting local economies and making meaningful contributions to the quality of life for residents. UNFI supports socially responsible initiatives that protect the environment and foster stewardship of the land.
