(SAVANNAH, GA) Chris Martindale, the manager of Carrabbas on Abercorn at Tibet in Savannah, has long been a huge supporter of 98.7 The River’s Christmas Wish program, featuring ten local families coping with cancer at Christmas time and sharing their stories on the air. Listeners can make donations to help brighten these families’ holidays.
Typically Carrabbas either hosts or caters our holiday luncheon where 98.7 The River surprises the families with the donations offered. But this year, Martindale wanted to do more.
Starting March 31, Carrabbas will start serving lunch every day (Monday through Saturday) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Now they are more convenient to midtown and downtown offices with the completion of the Truman Parkway.
On Monday April 7, Martindale will generously donate 50% of all lunch sales to Christmas Wish 2014. That means we are able to better help not only our ten local families, but also some of the families at The Children’s Hospital during Christmas whose letters we do not get to share. What a blessing!
How can you help? Eat! Come out to Carrabbas for lunch–or order to-go lunches. Regardless, 50% of all lunch sales, eat in or take out, will go to this year’s Christmas Wish program.
Start spreading the word with family, friends and co-workers and plan to join.
Remember, lunch begins March 31 and the CHRISTMAS WISH LUNCH DAY is Monday April 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Carrabbas, Abercorn at Tibet.
