(SAVANNAH, GA)  Goodwill needs more donations, soon. More shoppers and fewer donations put a hurt on the non-profit, which uses store proceeds to fund mission of helping people with employment barriers get jobs.

(SAVANNAH, GA) The 2013 Savannah Book Festival has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the International Paper Foundation to support the Festival’s mission in bringing authors to reach young people through local schools. Now in its sixth year, this world class book Festival will take place February 14- 17, 2013 and remains free for all to attend. http://www.savannahbookfestival.org/

Reservations are necessary; the times are 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday or Tuesday. (SAVANNAH, GA) The ocean tug MV William T. Moore has officially joined the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center’s growing fleet of ship models.

AND, the Georgia International and Maritime Trade Center Authority is actively identifying additional ship models to join this exhibition.If you are aware of ship models that might be placed on long term loan or donated, please let me hear from you.
