(SAVANNAH, GA) Newell Recycling is pleased to announce that pieces of scrap metal from its Savannah shredder plant have been used to create The Creative Coast Alliance’s 2009 Innovation Awards trophies. The trophies were presented at the Innovation Awards ceremony, Thursday, October 22, at 6 p.m. at the Trustees Theater, 216 E. Broughton St.

This event was fantastic! Gang at The Creative Coast, you deserve a standing O for the great food fun and presentation. The winners are all well deserving of this recognition. Bobby Treisch at Newell recycling, Jerry Lancaster at Port City Metals, Corky and Belinda Cook from Bella Terra Marble and granite…the awards are truly Innovative! Great work all !
