Starting in September, we will have swing dancing on Thursdays again! Doubles Lounge at Holiday Inn Midtown has graciously agreed to host us. Make sure to mark your calendars & head down to Doubles, on Abercorn near Eisenhower, starting Thursday September 4, 2008. I know that you will LOVE the large wooden dance floor, the top notch service staff & the drink specials. Let’s show midtown how swingers get down! Sorry kids, Doubles is strictly 21+
We are really glad to see all the new dancers coming back every week, filled with excitement and wanting to learn more. We will try, each week, to teach a new move; but when we get a lot of new people, we have to start from the beginning. When that happens, we need all of you to help with the lessons. Dancing is fun, but not by yourself! We have to teach it to others to really enjoy swing, so share the love and the passion. If you would like to review the lessons that Dave & Eileen have taught, or you are ready to learn some new moves, check out Tina and Mike from Head Over Hells Dance up in Fairfax, Va.
